James Lusby ~ Pelican Hill

Based in Exeter England, James has been recording his debut album Pelican Hill over the last 9 months with producer Nick Gordon.

The pair met at a local acoustic night in Exeter and decided to work with one another when the realisation came that James had the songs & Nick had the means to record them. James had previously played in bands but felt it was time to take creative control and go solo.

James & Nick have collaborated closely recording & re-working a lot of James’ songs and giving them a new lease of life. The songs reflect the wide range of music James listens to which in turn has generated an album that although diverse in sound; is glued together through James’ vocals.
